Long Thanh International Airport is planned to be an important international airport of the nation, aiming to become one of the regional transshipment air hubs. According to plan, the scale and capacity after completing all 3 phases of the airport is 100 million passengers per year and 5 million tons of cargo per year. Designed in the shape of Lotus - the national flower of Vietnam, Long Thanh airport is a combination of technology and architecture on the basis of honoring Vietnam's traditional cultural values.
